Wisdom tooth: Soft food like clam chowder are god to eat following wisdom tooth extraction. Keep rinsing with the saltwater. Continue to follow the post op instructions given to you. And healing should proceed as normally as possible.

Post op instructions: Yes, you can eat clam chowder the day after your extraction. It would be better to not eat on that side for at least a few more days. Each extraction is different. For more difficult extractions it is more important to avoid that area for awhile. Yes, you can continue to rinse with salt water. It is always best to follow the written and\or oral directions given you by your dentist.
