Im on purmycin and anaerobyl after i had my wisdom tooth removed on friday now i seem to be having chest pains below my left breast. it comes and goes and almost feels like i cant breathe, are these perhaps side effects of the above?

I doubt!: The chest pain is not likely to be due to the antibiotics. I know there is a concern about the effect of purmycin on the heart but it is not likely cause of your chest pain. I wonder if you have allergy to penicillins, it may have been a better group to choose from.

Doubtful: But no chest pain, especially with difficulty breathing, should go un diagnosed. Please address your concerns with your Oral Surgeon, who may want to change your antibiotic, and your physician, who may want to do a cardiac evaluation.
