Big toe on Campus.: Toe shape, length and width will vary widely with the size of the foot. So clearly the width alone has little significance in the description. Until the ratio of toe length to toe width exceeds 1:1, the broadness may not even be recognized. Even then, unless the big toe stands alone in excessive width, it could still appear normal in size, in relation to the other toes on the foot.
