Bone Spur: Boney growths are usually a "reactive" growth, whether from chronic pressure or shoe irritation, or arthritis in a joint causing surrounding boney spurs to grow. Usually these are either padded to shield pressure away from the lesion, or surgical intervention may be performed to remove bone spurs.
