Bent out of shape.: A bent big toe can be described as angular deviation of the big toe. The "bend" can involve either one or both bones in the toe, the joint between them or possibly the ball of the foot. The bending can occur in any direction, but a side-to-side deviation is probably most common. This type of conditioned can be either be inherited or acquired later in life and may even be considered normal.
