A member asked:

The stye on the inside of my lower eyelid just popped itself, should i be worried? it's still swollen.. should i get eye drops or just leave it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Drainage is good: Lucky for you that your stye spontaneously popped and drained. You can accelerate the rest of the healing with frequent application of warm (not hot) soaks. Antibiotics are of no help. You can use lubricating eye drops to help keep the area clear and clean.
