Yes: Pregnancy comes easily to those who don't want to be pregnant, and is difficult for those trying. It would be lovely to say that you can get pregnant on days x, y and z, but the fact is that early ovulation can occur at any time unless your cycle is being regulated by birth control pills and all calculations do not help. Always use contraception if you are not interested in a pregnancy.

No safe days: Pregnancy has been documented on any day of a woman's cycle, including during menses. If you plan to have sex, use some form of birth control and possibly two.Long term control with an IUD is expensive, requires uncomfortable insertion, but can protect you for several years without you doing anything. Using condoms can help prevent you from getting STD's but can fail if used alone.
