It depends :): Like most things in life, too much of anything can be bad for you! For most people 5 servings of fruit per day is fine, however diabetics should limit their fruit intake to 1-2. Fruits sweetness comes mostly from fructose, but it also contains glucose and sucrose. When you eat fruit you benefit from the vitamins and fiber that is not found in table "sugar", so it's better than eating sweets!

No and yes: Fruits are but one component of a well balanced diet which also should have proteins and fats and vitamins and minerals and complex carbohydrates in it. Variety is the spice of life and make it part of your's too!
