Why do u have to stop diary products a few days before a colonoscopy?

Clear liquids: are recommended for the colonoscopy prep in order to optimize visualization. If the bowel secretions are cloudy from milk proteins it is more difficult to clear the area completely and have an optimal view of the bowel lining through the scope. Following the prep instructions exactly gives you the best chance of having the most accurate examination. Good wishes:)
