No family history of ibd. colonoscopy shows hyperemia and erosions in rectum. cbc ok. no symptoms except traces of blood 2 days ago, now gone after mesalazine. waiting for result. any chance not ibd?

Yes.: It could be a slew of other things. I did mention IBD earlier because of the response you needed to your question. It could also be IBS, diverticulitis, infection, trauma. If they biopsied the rectum during the colonoscopy, which I am sure they did, you will know the result and adequate treatment will surely follow.

IBD: Unfortunately I think what you describe is pretty consistent with IBD, even with no Family history. Must await the biopsy results however. Best of luck.
