HSV antibodies: Presumably you have had a blood test that was positive for HSV1, right? That's the only way to diagnose a dormant infection with no known outbreak. The blood test detects antibodies -- that is, the test itself show you are making antibodies. Since you've never had an outbreak, probably you never will. Further, you are highly resistant to a new infection with HSV1, so you'll never catch it again.
