Not necessarily: CTs are VERY sensitive and pick up all sorts of little things. You probably could have lived your whole life and never known you had a 'lingual tonsil asymmetry' and been just fine. Still, it should be easy enough to check. See an Ear, Nose Throat specialist who can look in your throats and biopsy if necessary. Then you can relax when you confirm it's nothing. .
