Hi. i just noticed a reddish hickey like spot on my cheek that wasn't there a couple of hours ago . what could be causing this?

Suction or friction: can both cause a lesion that looks like a hickey. Possibly a bug bite? As a pediatrician, it is not uncommon to see lesions like this on children's faces from pushing a cup or open bottle top against the skin.
