Heavier: bleeding is generally due to normal variations. However it may also occur when a failed implantation of a fertilized ovum (egg) ..ie "miscarriage") and in cases of multiple heavy periods IRON Deficiency. Just a few "thoughts".....in short I would "ignore" it ..it's probably normal variation! Hope this helps! Dr Z
