A relative term but:: Being "in shape" or out of shape is a relative term without exact definition but being in shape involves having a normal Body Mass Index (not being overweight) and having good aerobic fitness/exercise tolerance, strength and flexibility. Out of Shape?: Assess the quality of your life, e.g., energy level, pains, mood, etc. See doctor to assess your physical well-being. Then correct things w/the help of a personal trainer, nutritionist, or the like. Peace and good health.
