How can optometrist determine the shape of ur eye?

Vision measurement: The most important shape issue is the cornea which relates to focusing ability. There are instruments (corneal topography) which can graphically analyze that shape and print out a form which can be helpful. The shape of the other parts of the eyes is rarely at issue and there is no practical way to measure them.
