Sore: It may be mild skin inflammation if it does not disappear I was just to see if physician and get a definitive diagnosis

Lymph node: sounds like a swollen lymph node. When you press on it the pain may be from recent infection in mouth or neck skin. If you had a recent infection expect the node to remain for one month. If longer see a doctor. Can be a cyst as well. That will need to be excised.
