A member asked:

What could cause coolness/ache/tightness in one calf after eating a large meal/lots of carbs? (happens repeatedly) feels like poor circulation.

Large meals: When you eat large meals, blood is diverted into the intestinal tract away from Muscles as the digestive process occurs. This is why muscle cramping may occur if you exercise(like swimming) too soon after eating a large meal. I can't think of any other connection between eating and developing calf symptoms. Your physician can quickly check your leg pulses to assure you about your circulation.
