A member asked:

Can you tell me the duration of intenstinal follicular hyperplasia in children.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Indefinite: It may stick around until everybody forgets about it. It should not remain symptomatic for more than a few days. The important thing is that it's benign. Rarely, it can be a finding in an acute abdomen, if the sole cause it is best managed conservatively. I also trust this is not mesenteric adenitis caused by Yersinia, under called.
