Benign: This is a common pathology diagnosis for a benign lymph node that's enlarged because it got stimulated. I'm glad it turned out well.

More info needed: What area was biopsied? Viruses may be associated with reactive hyperplasia. Your physician needs to guide you in further work-up, if indicated--or you may wish to consult a pediatric hematologist-oncologist.
