Not necessarily.: Based on your description, it does not seem like you have melanoma. However, without a pic, I cannot say for sure. I agree that a change in your mole means you should get it looked at. If you are really worried about it, go to an urgent care center or ER. Or, call your primary care doc and see if he can see you sooner to get your mole examined.
