Duration: 2.5 months is an exceptionally long time unless you have been exposed to the virus over and over again. How were you INITIALLY treated? What was your original Valtrex (valacyclovir) dosing and length of treatment. Were you placed on suppressive therapy? Call your prescribing physician today and review therapy.
