Clostridium & Autism: Pubmed.com shows two published articles on metabolites of Clostridium spp. and other enteric bacteria and discuss the relationship of the microbiome to Autism Spectrum Disorder. Any extrapolation of colonic metabolism is pure conjecture and correlation and not causation in my opinion. One could just as easily correlate dietary intake or stool volume, need null hypothesis generation to prove wrong
