Variable: If you are being treated with antibiotics, particularly with Metronidazole (flagyl), your appetite may not correct until you are off this. Any severe infection can suppress appetite and the time necessary for recovery with vary widely. Good luck and hope you recover quickly.

Healthy diet: Eat healthy dairy, soft fruit, and drink lots of water. Walking is a gentle way to get strong. This frequently relapses so you may need more Flagyl and or probiotics. 2 weeks is reasonable to get better, or go back to your doctor.
