Mgt: It is important to see a Pulmonary physician for these symptoms. An inbox consult can also be booked to review records and imaging studies. From your description, asthma and COPD are possible causes. The mucus may be sent to the lab for analysis including cytology. Have you had pulmonary function testing, a course of steroids?
