Varies: Depending on the laboratory and the relationship your dentist has with the lab, a few days to approximately a week. Why not ask the dentist who is making the splint?

Depends: If a dentist makes it himself, it can be overnight. If sent to a commercial lab, it will often take a week or longer. There are emergency appliances (aqualizer) that can help if something immediate is needed. The dentist making the appliance will be able to answer your question
