Many options: It totally depends on what has already been tried and failed. Options include a microdiscectomy (partial disc removal) with possible laminectomy (bone removal) version some type of fusion. Nonsurgical treatments include meds, chiropractic care, injections and PT. Arms & hands should not go numb from a low back issue. Epidural injection: Problem is too little information for best answer. We generally start with epidural steroids to de inflame the area. Add physical,therapy, gabapentinoids, and oral,NSAIDS. To start.back
