Does the bites look anything like a bunch of red almost circle looking?

Yes: Bites can have that appearance but may be raised and itchy but can also be flat and nonitchy. Redness gradually fades but may take days. Other possibilities include petecchiae which are flat,nonitchy and are leakages of tiny skin blood vessels(capillaries) and can occur in clusters and can take days to fade.
