? False positives : That's why you need to have positive and negative controls in every allergy skin test panel,if the positive control doesn't show any reaction, hence any reaction to any extract applied can be just a local irritation not a true IgE mediated reaction resulting from histamine release.You're better off having a repeat test/second opinion before having a definitive diagnosis and possible immunotherapy
