It depends: It depends on how the fibroids will be removed as to what tips and knowledge are imparted. Your surgeon can give you all the details of the surgical approach such as Laparoscopic/Robotic or abdominal. Also will the fibroids only be removed (myomectomy) or the entire uterus. All of the above factors play a critical part in what your surgical experience will be so talk to your surgeon and find out.
