Fracture: 49 year old lady status post fall to knee and continued pain at 6 weeks post injury. You should have plain radiographs (X-rays) taken of your knee to ascertain whether you had fracture of your tibial plateau. You may or may not require rigid fixation with plate and screws if you do have a fracture. Stay calm and see an orthopaedic surgeon.Good luck.
