Time to heal: The best way is to allow the laceration to heal. This includes no excessive movement of the knee with knee elevation, ice, and antibiotic ointments. I would begin a scar cream at 10 days.

Knee laceration: Your skin can only heal so fast. Keep it clean and dry and it will heal shortly.
