A member asked:

Sometimes my groin will go numb while i'm riding the exercise bike. today, it did this while i was walking. what do i do??

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pudendal nerve: Try lowering the nose of the seat on the bicycle. The seat may be pressing on the pudendal nerve. You may also try to get better cushioning on the seat. You could consider a different exercise like stair climber rather than exercise bike. It is good that you exercise and find a way to continue it. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.
