Groin/Thigh Pain: The combo of groin pain and numbness could mean that the femoral nerve is being irritated. The question is where is it getting irritated. Typically you need to look at the area involved and above the area, so evaluation of the thigh, groin, back and abdomin is necessary. Since there is pain and numbness you could start with a neurologist or physiatrist or orthopod. Dr Rich Blake
