Leg swelling: Leg swelling suggests venous insufficiency or blood clot in a vein. A vascular surgeon would be best to evaluate and advise you. A venous ultrasound of the leg would be ordered. If the problem is venous insufficiency, wearing a compression stocking of the leg may be recommended.
