Need more info...: Do you refer "string" to stitch? Where is the concerned stitch located? How have the stitch affected or bothered you? All these are useful to give a reasonable answer. Stringulation???: For the life of me, I cannot figure out what "string left in my foot", can possibly be describing. Amputation of a toe is generally the result of trauma, poor blood supply or a serious infection. More details are needed to make sense of your concern.
