Sometimes one does: see more decidual (lining) tissue than blood in a menstrual period...rarely the whole uterine lining will be passed in one piece...a decidual cast. This will usually be an isolated event, and the next period will have the usual lining mixed with blood. The Skyla IUD is associated with lighter periods as well. If persists/more questions, return to your Doc. Good wishes:)
