A member asked:

Is an ep study dangerous? my cardiologist wants to do one but i'm 26 and i'm afraid it'll kill me. what if they burn the wrong spot? i dont have svt.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

EP study: There is no 'burning' in an EP test. The test is not without some risks but generally quite safe. The 'burning' is part of ablation treatment which may or may not be suggested after the test. Discuss details with your Doc.
