I have an occipital bone fracture that extends into the condyle. it's been 3 months but the ct said i still have the fracture. what would be the treat?

Skull fracture: Occipital bone referring to the base of the skull fracture and extending into the condyle. Most fratcure of the skull are evaulated for depression into the brain. After 3 months if you have a skull fracture and no treatment has been required then your doctor will most likely continue observation. Follwo the disharge instructions your trauma doctor or hospital gave you. Bring a friend to help.

These: fractures heal very slowly and the CT should be repeated only if new or more severe symptoms occur. The usual follow-up for healing is 6-8 weeks but some fracture=like signs may persist for many months! NO TREATMENT is indicated ("tincture of time") Hope this helps! Dr Z
