A member asked:

I have dark gums - what is the most recommended procedure to make them pink? thanks.

Dark gums: Brown gum pigmentation is inherited and not alterable. Diseased gums may appear red rather than pink, and bringing them back to a state of health will return them to a healthy salmon pink color. Gum question or problem, see a gum/bone specialist, a Periodontist, for state of the art care.

Gingival color: If your gums are healthy and the color is caused by the melanin in the tissue, you will not be able to change the color.
