Staying active &: engaged physically and/or mentally, moderate quantities (one or 2 glasses or cups) of caffeinated beverages, staying upright & not getting too comfortable may help you get through w/o a morning siesta. However, if you do shift work & that's when you need to sleep, well, you need to sleep. Dr. Anne
