Head injuries: Even when not concussions, may hurt for several days until the bruised tissues heal. Continue nsaid, apply ice or cool compresses off & on, keep head elevated. If develop severe headache, projectile vomiting, extreme drowsiness, loss of consciousness, see doc/er at once.

Hit head hard under granite countertop. Urgent care did x-rays , came back normal. No symptoms except head hurts. Is a CT scan still needed?
I hit my head on a ceramic sink near the mastoid area. A week after I went to the doctor had a CT scan which came back normal with mild concussion. I still feel headaches and dizziness.
