Exam: Could be fibromyalgia causing the pain, or it could be carpal tunnel syndrome, a broken bone or nonunion, radiculopathy, or other problems. You need to give a full medical history and a description of the onset of your symptoms, the duration, any swelling, exact location of point tenderness, etc. Get a consult in VA.Good luck.
