Kienbochs disease: A cyst within the lunate bone can’t be removed like a soft tissue cyst. It could be an incidental finding (non-ossifying fibroma) or could indicate the early stages of Kienboch’s disease - avascular necrosis is the lunate due to increased stress/joint reactive forces from the ulnar plus deformity. Either way, if asymptomatic, no treatment is necessary.
