Obstruction?: Assuming that you do have a sinus infection which has failed to respond to antibiotic 3, the next step would be getting a CT scan to document the infection and to look for anatomic obstruction of sinus drainage (which may require surgical correction if present). If there is persistent infection and no obstruction of drainage, an immune evaluation by an allergist/immunologist may be in order.
