Reaction: The contacts or whatever lubricant you used as you put them in has triggered a response that suggests allergy or intolerance. Don't use them or the fluid again. You can look for an artificial tear product or similar eye wash to help soothe the itchiness.There is an OTC allergy eye drop by Allergan called Zaditor (ketotifen) that might help.
