A member asked:

Do breast milk treat baby acne?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Baby acne: Breast milk does not treat baby acne. Baby acne usually clears up on its own around age 3 months, but if it is really red and inflamed, please visit your dermatologist for treatment. Heat rash and inflammation of hair follicles due to yeast (pityrosporum folliculitis) can look like acne. Infantile acne may leave scars. It is also a predictor of having inflamed acne in teen years.
