No risk, no worry: Even if you touch a genital herpes outbreak then immediately touch your face, you would not get a facial infection. This happens sometimes during the very first herpes infection, but even that is rare; and it almost never happens in people with recurrent herpes. Even in initial infeciton, the very indirect exposure described here is zero risk. Also, soap instantaneously kills the herpes virus.
