No: Psyllium husk is pretty benign. It works by not being absorbed by your GI tract so i doubt that anesthesia would have any effect (since it never really enters your body from your intestine). Just be sure you do not take it too close to the time of the scope because you dont want any residual matter in your colon to obstruct the view of the scope.

No: Taking psyllium should not effect your anesthetic as long as you fast 8 hours prior to the procedure.

No: This medication will not affect the anesthetic, it might have affects with the endoscopy so you should check with your GI doctor as to when you should discontinue this. Good luck.
