A member asked:

How long does it take for a foot tendon injury to heal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Variable: Many variables exist when it comes to healing: age, ability to rest & allow for recovery, severity of the tendon injury, treatments employed to promote healing. A peroneal brevis tendonitis that is treated early can "heal" in a few weeks. A tear of the peroneal longus may take 6-12 months.
